PSSF Chair, CEO Invite PSC CEO to Speak at Inaugural PSSF Pan-African Pensions Conference
Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) Chairman Ambassador Hussein Dado and the Fund’s CEO Dr Jonah Aiyabei paid a courtesy visit to the Public Service Commission (PSC) CEO Mr Paul Famba, and extended an invitation to speak at the inaugural PSSF Pan-African Pensions Conference, set for November 26–28, 2025, at the Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort in Diani.
Mr. Famba will address the role of employers in strengthening pension systems—a theme PSSF says is central to sustainable retirement security across Africa.
“As Africa accelerates toward sustainable pension solutions, the role of employers cannot be overstated,” Amb. Dado said during the courtesy call. “We are pleased to invite Mr. Famba to share his insights on this critical subject and join in charting a forward-looking agenda for public‐sector pensions.”
Accepting the invitation, Mr. Famba noted the importance of collaboration between oversight bodies and fund managers. “I am honoured to accept this invitation and look forward to discussing how employers—in public and private arenas—can strengthen pension outcomes for the workforce across Africa.”
The three-day conference will bring together policymakers, fund managers, employers, and regulators from across the continent to exchange ideas on innovation, regulatory harmonization, and best practices in pension administration.
