PSSF Engages with Regulator RBA

Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF) Chairman Amb. Hussein Dado and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jonah Aiyabei held talks with Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) CEO Mr Charles Machira as the two institutions pledged closer cooperation on pensions sector reforms.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in member education and diversifying investment strategies to boost long-term returns for members.

Mr Machira urged the PSSF leadership to position the scheme as a benchmark for public pension management in the region, noting the opportunity to set higher standards on governance, service delivery and investment performance.

During the meeting, PSSF extended an invitation to RBA to participate in its inaugural Pan-African Pensions Conference set for 26th-28th November in Diani, where Machira will feature as a speaker.

The conference is expected to bring together regional and international pension funds, regulators, members and industry experts to explore strategies for sustainable retirement systems in Africa.
